Yes, it is that time of year when mom’s and dad’s everywhere are looking at the “back to school” sales ads, figuring out who has crayons on sale and which child (actually) needs a new backpack. I didn’t go to Catholic school, so growing up, I was somewhat jealous of those who didn’t have to think about what to wear to school each day. While there are some definite advantages, there are also some distinct disadvantages to the uniform:
Pros
Don’t have to think about what to wear
The little kids are so darn CUTE!
Even the big kids are pretty cool
Everyone is pretty much the same
Fun days with themes
-purple Friday
-spirit week
-tie day
-crazy hat day
-this was ‘America Monday’, not sure how this is America but….
Cons
While there are some great pros, there are also some cons from the Catholic uniform
What to wear when the uniform is dirty
-sweaty boys
-sweaty girls
Back to school shopping for uniforms, look at the options!
