It is a truth universally acknowledged that Catholic ladies love the exact same things, right? From movies to music to saints and fashion, there are many things that are adored by all across the board.
Don’t believe it? Just take a look at this list of thing all Catholic women love.
1. Jane Austen novels, movies, soundtracks
Yep, we own them all and in multiples! We also want a Mr. Darcy of our very own.
2. Babies
They’re our kryptonite. The chubbier the better. Why do you think it’s so hard for us to concentrate during Mass?
3. Downton Abbey
Every Sunday for several years, we all watched Downton Abbey religiously. The movie they’re filming? Yes, we’re counting down the days for that as well!
4. Baby names
We have baby names covered, way before we even get married! If they’re boys we want to name them John Paul, Benedict, or Francis…
5. And more baby names
If they’re girls they’ll be named Mary, Therese, or Zelie.
6. Tolkien
Let’s be real: Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings saga is better than C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia. Don’t at me.
7. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
If it’s movie night, we’ll always want to watch this one.
8. Sound of Music
If we want the movie night to be a double feature, this is our pick.
9. Saint Anne
We single ladies love to pray, “St. Anne, St. Anne, bring me a man!” because the waiting season is absolutely terrible!
10. Homeschooling
We all want to homeschool our kids starting at the age of 3.
11. Catholic schools
If we decide to be working moms, we’ll be sending our kids to Catholic schools.
12. Essential oils
Do you smell that? That’s because we all love essential oils and we use them for everything.
13. Church outfits
Our church outfits are color coordinated to coincide with the liturgical seasons.

Finally, we will never stop watching Disney movies. Ever.
Of course, these are all terrible stereotypes of what all Catholic women love.
Each Catholic woman is unique and has her own interests and hobbies.
