Books About Saint Teresa of Calcutta for the Busy Reader

We are all busy (or so it seems), reliably busier than we ought to be. There seems to be little time to read for inspiration. However, quality Catholic reading is necessary if we are to grow in our journey with the Lord.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta was canonized as a saint by Pope Francis on September 4, 2016. If you would like to know more about – and be steadily inspired by – the life of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, here are recommendations for some relatively short (250 pages or fewer), yet impactful, books. Of course, these are only a few of the multiple available worthwhile titles on the life and ministry of Mother Teresa.

These selections promise to draw you closer to the Lord by way of the beautiful Christian example of Saint Teresa of Calcutta. (And in case you are really busy, they are listed in order of page number, from least to greatest! However, just remember that “the last will be first, and the first will be last” [Matthew 20:16].)
