ALL THINGS FRENCH!
1. Catholic Word of the Day: equipollent
Comes from two Latin words. The first one, aequi, means “equally,” and the second one, pollere, means “be strong.” It refers to the infallible papal declaration of a person’s sanctity. It was recently invoked by Pope Francis for the Carmelite martyrs of Compiegne, canonizing them. Their feast day is July 17, so mark your calendars!
