1. Black History: Black Saints
In the United States, February is Black History Month, a time to honor the contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout history that have shaped the cultural, political, social, and economic fabric of our nation. As Catholics, we can also consider the spiritual contributions made by black individuals who are, or may someday be, canonized saints. Check out these holy men and women of African descent who helped form American Catholicism.
