It’s not Mystery Alaska, though they have a serious appreciation and devotion to the mysteries of the Rosary. It’s the Dominican Friars of the Holy Family Cathedral in Anchorage Alaska.
I’ve seen this Cathedral – as I used to live in Alaska – and shhhh! don’t tell anyone, but in the winter it looks like a snow carving:
What they did recently is awesome. The friars decided to go down to one of the local ponds in their black and white cassocks for some pickup hockey and Mr. Gavin Duncan from Eagle River snapped some photos and posted them to Facebook. They’re public, so you can see them all right now. Here’s a few of the pics from the cold day:
