Christmas trees are a tradition unlike any other for the holidays. Stemming (pun intended) from an Old Germanic tradition, the tree symbolizes life in the winter darkness, just as Jesus came and still comes in the winter darkness as the Light and Life of the World. The Christmas tree is really a reminder of who the season is truly about. (Jesus. It’s all about Jesus).
Many trees can be quite beautiful when they are decorated and sitting in your home. Like this one:
That said, some Christmas trees need a little help. But we’ll count the good effort in the spirit of the season.Enjoy these quirky Christmas trees.
“Is the tree straight, honey?” “Yup, shore is.”
“I want something unique. Have anything like that?”
“I’d like a tree, nothing too full though.”
“We don’t have time for a tree this year. You want one, you’re on your own.”
“Just let the kids decorate the tree this year!”
“Something seems a little off…”
“Uhm…huh?!”
“Those lights really bring out the best in this little tree.”
“Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!”
“Just dispense with all the frivolities and wish people a ‘Merry Christmas!'”
“Well that’s interesting.”
“Go stand by the bush, er, tree, little Johnny.”
“This time of year gets so busy. I don’t know what’s up or down anymore.”
(No explanation necessary)
“At least we won’t have to water it.”
“It’s mistletoe and a tree all in one!”
