In a small town in Kentucky there’s a Catholic parish that takes their sacred art very seriously. In late May 2016, they added a 13th stained glass display to their church, this one in the narthex.
It’s completely gorgeous:
The parish takes sacred art very seriously.
“It is exciting to see this project begin to become a visual reality. The windows will contribute to our mission of worship, witness, and teaching. It will progress according to its own impetus, as parishioners are able and willing to move it forward. The intent is that our Parish projects not compete among themselves, but that they progress together as God enables them to go. To that end, we commend this work to the praise and glory of God and to the edification of his people.” excerpt from a letter to parishioners, written by Fr. Richard Meredith
See their parish website for more of their devotion to sacred art.
