The Most Rev. Thomas J. Olmstead wrote an exhortation addressed to all men in all vocations, including priests, deacons, fathers, and husbands. He calls us all to stand up against the modern world’s fight against true love and life. It’s rock solid. I highly recommend reading it and taking it to heart. Fatherhood, in all aspects of the term, is under attack because with its fall, the enemy has the upper hand in destroying society. After reading the exhortation, I was compelled to find out how the modern world views masculinity. I was disappointed, to say the least. Here we go…
I’m not sure exactly what is going on here, but I’m assuming it’s some sort of male bonding ritual. It lost me at the white robes.
Must be more of that weird ritual. It’s weird seeing a man reading a newspaper outside of the bathroom.
If Justin Bieber is a definition of masculinity, we’re all in trouble.
I guess cowboys hug.
Ugh, hipsters. This is a hipster, right?
Umm…what? I…just can’t.
Seriously? I never pick my nose like that.
There’s hope!!! Thank the Lord Almighty! There’s hope!
Nope. We’re doomed.
What has this got to do with anything?!
YES. Sweet relief. There IS still a glimmer of hope!
Don’t let the modern world define your masculinity. Christ is the root of all masculinity and once you find your identity in Him, the enemy does not stand a chance in ruining you. Be a man and read Bishop Olmstead’s article at https://www.intothebreach.net/into-the-breach/.
