When reading the Old Testament stories there comes a point where we all are thinking, “C’mon guys, don’t you get it?”
So, what would have happened if they just said or done the correct thing, instead of disobeying? We can only dream about it…
If they didn’t eat the apple
When they got angry
Patience!
When building the ark
Not really disobeying, but things I’d hope Noah at least asked.
Who building the Tower of Babel
If the blessing was not stolen
If they didn’t sell their brothers to slavery
OK, this one turned out to be a blessing for Israel, but if those things didn’t happen before, there wouldn’t have been a famine, and there wouldn’t be any murder, and we’d still be in the Garden, so there.
If Pharaoh let everyone go the first time
If they used their craftsmanship for something other than worship
OK, let’s go home!
If David kept custody of his eyes
