The world is going through some troubled times right now. Unless you have been living under a rock I suspect you already know that. One saint I feel is truly needed right now is the archangel, Raphael.

COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on our world. It has afflicted many individuals and is causing a strain on the economy. As the world searches for a vaccine and a healing remedy, Raphael’s intercession can be beneficial.
Furthermore, there is another type of healing that is needed. A racial rift exists in the world as well. Recent events have sparked outrage at the treatment of blacks and minorities in the world. Raphael’s intercession can help heal those wounds too.
He is an intercessor for marriage
“What on earth does this have to do with anything?” you might be asking. Well, I’ll tell you: because of the current pandemic, faithful, young Catholics are staying home. They are not going out to meet other faithful, young Catholics, falling in love, getting married, and having children. We need strong marriages. Strong marriages lead to strong families. Strong families lead to vocations. If we want more priests and nuns, we need more marriages. Because of his role in the book of Tobit, Raphael is the patron saint of happy meetings and those seeking their future spouse.
